i have taken up sewing...

I have taken on a new hobby...sewing! For a lady like me who so enjoys clothing the match seemed natural, and here is a peek at my first project!

The simple sheath dress pattern came from an amazing book called Dresses by Wendy. From there I let my imagination take me where it wished. The body of the dress is simple cotton muslin with accents of black lace and black stitching on the bodice and edges of the dress.

Can't wait to wear my new creation! And have several more projects waiting in the wings...
